What a cookie is
A small piece of text a site asks your browser to keep, and to send back on your next visit. It is how a site remembers anything at all between one page and the next.
What this site keeps
- Strictly necessary. Signing in to the dashboard, keeping a form submission safe from forgery, and remembering what is in a basket while you are shopping. The site cannot work without these.
- Preference. What you chose in the reading panel, so the site still looks the way you set it when you come back. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
- Performance. The cache that lets a page arrive quickly. It holds no information about you.
What this site does not keep
There are no advertising cookies here, and nothing that follows you to other sites. Nobody is paying us to watch where you go.
Other people’s cookies
While you are paying or donating, the payment provider sets its own cookies to keep that transaction secure. Those are governed by its policy, not this one.
Getting rid of them
Every browser can show you the cookies a site has set and delete them, and can refuse them altogether. Refusing the necessary ones will stop signing in and paying from working. Your browser’s help pages explain where the setting is.
Signals your browser sends
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal it is honoured. We do not sell or share personal information in any case. See Privacy Policy. Last updated August 29, 2026.
