Accessibility Statement
What Maranda Mathis has done to make multiplicitycrafts.com usable by everyone, what is known to fall short, and how to tell us when it does.

What we aim for
This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. That is a standard, not a certificate, and aiming for it is a commitment rather than a claim to have finished.
What has been done
- Every part of the site can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, and the focus outline is always visible.
- Text and its background are contrasted to the level the standard asks for, in both the light and the dark appearance.
- Headings run in order, so a screen reader can move through a page by structure.
- Images that carry meaning have a description; images that are decoration are hidden from screen readers rather than announced as nothing.
- Anything that moves stops when you ask your device for less motion, and moving content can always be paused.
- A reading panel in the corner of every page lets you set the text larger, the lines further apart, the links underlined, and the colour calmer, for as long as you are here.
Where it still falls short
- Some older uploaded images may carry a short description where a fuller one would serve better. These are being improved as they are found.
- Pages on other people’s sites that we link to are outside our control and may not meet this standard.
- A drawing is a visual thing. A description can say what is in it; it cannot be the piece.
How it was checked
By going through the site with a keyboard and a screen reader, and with automated checks that catch what a person misses. Both are done again when the site changes.
Telling us about a barrier
If something here stopped you, please write to Show the address and say what you were trying to do and what happened. You will hear back within 5 working days, and being told is the only way it gets fixed.
