Shipping & Delivery
How a piece is packed, when it leaves, and who carries the risk while it travels.
Last updated August 29, 2026
How it is packed
Flat, between rigid boards, wrapped against damp, in a stiffened envelope or a box. Work on paper is never rolled unless you ask for it.
When it leaves
Within 5 working days of the final payment clearing. You are told when it goes, and given a tracking number where the service provides one.
How long it takes to arrive
That is the carrier’s to answer, not ours. Times quoted by a postal service are estimates, and weather, customs and public holidays all move them.
Cost, duties and taxes
Postage is quoted with the piece. On an order crossing a border, any import duty, tax or handling fee is charged by the destination country and is yours to pay; we cannot know the amount in advance and cannot mark a parcel as a gift or understate its value.
The address you give
Please check it. A parcel sent to an address you gave us and later returned undelivered can be sent again once postage is paid a second time. Tell us immediately if an address changes; once a parcel has gone we cannot redirect it.
Who carries the risk
The piece is at our risk until it is delivered to the address you gave. Ownership passes to you when it has been paid for in full and delivered. If a carrier leaves a parcel somewhere you asked them to leave it, the risk passes at that point.
If something goes wrong on the way
Tell us within 7 days of delivery or of the expected date. What happens next is in Refunds & Cancellations.
Collecting in person
Sometimes possible, always by arrangement, never assumed. Ask at Show the address. Last updated August 29, 2026.
